Anurag Thakur has launched the “Government of India calendar for 2024.” It has a QR code for people to learn more about the government’s achievements. The “Hamara Sankalp Viksit Bharat” calendar shows what the government has done under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
Thakur talked about the government’s achievements during the launch in New Delhi. He explained initiatives in areas like infrastructure, health, women’s empowerment, economy, sports, education, and technology.
Thakur pointed out India’s progress over the past decade, moving from one of the ‘fragile five’ economies to the fifth-largest globally. He proudly mentioned India’s rise in the global startup ecosystem, now ranked third-largest.
The minister also highlighted the growth in the aviation sector, with airports increasing from 74 to 150. He noted the expansion of metro services to 22 cities and the rise in AIIMS from 7 to 23.
Emphasizing support for women-led development, Thakur mentioned the 33 percent reservation for women in the Lok Sabha and State Assemblies. The event, attended by Information and Broadcasting Secretary Apurva Chandra and other officials, marked the significance of the calendar launch in summarizing the government’s achievements.
