CMA Awards 2023: Complete List of Winners

The CMA Awards 2023, or CMAs, are prestigious honors presented to outstanding country music artists and broadcasters, recognizing their exceptional contributions to the industry. The annual televised ceremony showcases performances and award presentations by famous country music artists, occasionally featuring appearances from pop and rock artists. The awards, established in 1967, were first televised in 1968. On May 16, 2023, the Association announced that Luke Bryan and NFL superstar Peyton Manning would host the 57th Annual CMA Awards, scheduled for November 8, 2023, at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. The event was broadcast live on ABC and available for Hulu streaming. The categories include:

In addition to captivating performances by Kelsea Ballerini, Post Malone, and Chris Stapleton, the night witnessed prestigious awards bestowed upon country music’s brightest stars. Before the celebrities graced the red carpet, Good Morning America unveiled a few fortunate CMA winners, including Lainey Wilson and HARDY, who won the Musical Event of the Year.

Wilson led the nominee list with an impressive nine nods, while Luke Combs, HARDY, and first-time nominee Jelly Roll each entered the award show with multiple nominations.

A notable first-time nominee was Tracy Chapman, recognized for penning her timeless hit “Fast Car.” Initially released in 1988, the song regained chart-topping status after Luke Combs covered it earlier in the year.
